New branding and website convey the role of standards as enablers of digital transformation in upstream sector

Houston, February 26 2018: Today Energistics Consortium Inc is officially launching its new branding, with a logo and a tag line – Adopt > Advance > Accelerate.

“The Energistics Consortium has two missions: facilitate the development of industry standards for data transfer, and inform, educate and support all stakeholders to ensure a rapid and effective adoption of the standards,” said Ross Philo, President and CEO of Energistics, “the new branding summarizes the consortium’s mission and conveys the business-critical role of data standards  to advance and accelerate the industry’s digital transformation.”

The branding is also tied to a new website that combines content that articulates the contribution of data transfer standards to the digital oilfield while also providing extensive technical resources for companies deploying standards for drilling, production and reservoir operations. A library of case studies, articles and papers, combined with recorded webinars, provides ample material to convey the benefits of data transfer standards and their practical deployment and usage across the upstream industry.
