Global engineering, procurement, construction and installation company McDermott has won two contracts for work on the Pan Malaysia field development located offshore Sarawak, Malaysia.
One contract, awarded by Sarawak Shell Berhad, includes the transportation and installation of jackets, topsides and pipelines for the Gorek gas field.
The other contract for Sapura Exploration includes the transportation and installation of jackets, topsides and pipelines for the Larak and Bakong gas fields.
McDermott will also fabricate risers and spools for both firms, scheduled to be performed at its global execution centre in Batam, Indonesia.
Work on the two contracts is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2019.
