US engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor McDermott has won a large contract with Saudi Aramco for two oil and gas fields off Saudi Arabia.
The deal, worth between US$49m and US$250m, is for engineering, construction and installation services in the Marjan and Zuluf fields.
McDermott will fabricate new control rooms, boat landings and new jacket members as part of a relocation of control rooms at the sites, as well as upgrading all control systems.
Work will take place at McDermott’s Al Khobar office and Dammam fabrication facility, starting immediately.
