Role Summary:The CSA Material Process Leader will report to Drilling Global Materials Leader and will be responsible to support material and services requirement, plan delivery schedules, define global stocking strategies, manage advance order releases, and supply chain engagement supporting spare parts and services procurement for our CSA teams. Customer satisfaction through OTD and Cash utilization through Inventory levels and turns will be the CSA Material Process Leader’s focus.
Essential Responsibilities:In the role of CSA Material Process Leader, you will:• Develop material processes with internal / external customers to drive simplification & productivity• Lead operating rhythm with TOI & Diamond to address process gaps and stabilize transaction routes• Work with Analytics engineer to develop safety stock requirements for unplanned needs• Use offshore 6-12 month planned maintenance forecast to drive monthly demand planning in Oracle• Drive demand and forecasting to ensure 100% capital spares availability to support COC and recertification plan• Be responsible for inventory targets associated with CSA and PI audit check• Ensure 90% material availability for planned maintenance parts• Develop, maintain & approve Min / Max inventory level on the rigs• Develop a change management process for CSA approved list and ensure its ongoing accuracy in Oracle filters• Work with CSR team to resolve daily $0 CSA diamond purchase order exceptions to ensure timely orders booking• Track TOI Inventory buy back and ensure we are on track or below plan• Ensure parts are shipped on time during urgent (non-rig down) and delivery details are provided in advance to Heliport / Dock base• Prepare monthly financial reporting on materials consumption, quarterly reporting on CM review• Be responsible for material planning and inventory metrics across a service segment• Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan / forecast and recommend modifications• Plan for prevention of excess inventory and stock outs• Work with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes• Lead Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes through Order to Remittance (OTR)• Deliver business sales, contribution margin, develop proposals; negotiate with customers; drive competitive pricing• Develop an operational year plan for the own department activities• Suggest improvements in products, processes and procedures• Contribute to plan of larger unit, working together with senior leaders in the business (SPB and EB level)• Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done• Work on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks, but will have latitude to deviate from those conditions
Qualifications/Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Materials Management) • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Management
