Currently we are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Antwerp Refinery.
Job Role Responsibilities
The Equipment Engineering group is responsible for the technical installations at the ExxonMobil refinery and contributes to the safe and reliable operation of the factory. The refinery in Antwerp is part of the worldwide ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubes organization.
As an Electrical Engineer you are also responsible for the drafting of technical specifications, selection of materials and follow-up of the construction of new electrical installations. You support the maintenance department in troubleshooting, develop maintenance strategies and devise improvement proposals, ensuring the safety and reliability of the installations in the factory.
As an Electrical Engineer you work in a team with other specialist engineers, the maintenance, the project and the production department. You also work closely with engineers from recognized inspection bodies and engineering firms.
Expected Level of Proficiency
We are looking for candidates with an engineering degree and with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a comparable position in the industry.
Through your experience you have the specific theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical installations in petrochemistry. You have a good knowledge of industry standards and the AREI. You manage the calculation methods for correctly dimensioning and securing low voltage and high voltage installations.
You also have good communication skills, a highly developed analytical thinking ability and you speak Dutch and English fluently. In addition, you have a long-term interest in developing your career in Electrical Engineering.
