Role Summary:The Executive – EPC projects Leader, directs engineering area of EPC projects . In this role He/She will execute high exposure projects partnering with his main counterparts in ITO and OTR.
Essential Responsibilities:• Accountable for technical consistency of project deliverables either from performance or from execution standpoint• Support Sales and ITO mitigating to the maximum extent possible the risks associated to the projects• He/She influences DTI to drive towards the most competitive technology and solution• He/She manage the risks on the project through review and revision of all technical contractual documentation prior to the order• Drive X-functional project cost out including installation, commissioning.• He/She defines the engineering project execution model and makes sure the project is staffed with the right profiles and the needed workforce• He/She cooperates with his peers on OTR to define the overall project execution model and supports it accordingly from the design stand point• Meet OTD Targets (VDR, Primavera etc.)• Meet Product/Project Quality targets (NCR, NCM, RCA, NCA, CAPA, CoQ)• Ensure Site support (L3, NCM, SDR dispositions, field & testing issues)• Set organizational goals to meet project schedule milestones• Provide leadership to direct reports; includes staffing, training, and evaluation• Influence profitable growth of the Product Support business by developing processes and systems that will product competitively priced support products
Qualifications/Requirements:• Master degree from an accredited university or college• Proven capability to execute Projects and to interact with main O&G Customers• Significant years of experience in Turbomachinery engineering & technology & 5 years in EPC-like projects• Proficient in process technologies and pros and cons of various execution models• Multidisciplinary skills ranging from mechanical to process through electrical and control as well as project engineering management• Capable to assess the contractual risks associated to the project and able to mitigate them accordingly.• Strong leadership capability.• Executive level presentation skills, Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes for an area or business segment.• Strong analytical, process improvement and project management skills.• Knowledge of planning and analysis tools for project management.• Cross-functional teamwork with ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.• Strong collaboration skills Able to work closely with multiple functions• Shows strong instincts, tireless research, exact attention to detail and innovative spirit• Target oriented, self-starter, autonomous … entrepreneur’s mindset
Desired Characteristics:• International recognitions through patents and publications• Active member of International Standard Committees (API, ASME etc.)• Active member of International Committees (EGT, Turbo Symposium, IGTI, ICAAMC etc.)• Controlled Title Holder (Principal or above)• Quality Certification• BHGE TPS internal candidate preferred
