Job Role Summary

Inspection Engineer will review and update equipment strategies based on risk based inspection processes and review health of Mechanical Integrity programs. 

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Reviews inspections completed to confirm appropriate tasks consistent to inspection technique
  • Develop risk profiles based on inspection and process data
  • Performs Mechanical Integrity data analysis
  • Review and recommend tasks to mitigate mechanical integrity risk
  • Subject matter expert for mechanical integrity of fixed equipment

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Fixed Equipment Engineering or plant engineering role
  • Demonstrated potential for a leadership role
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME Sec VIII, B31.3, API 510, 570, 579)
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical integrity and risk-based inspection
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and corrosion associated with refinery/petrochemical process
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Significant prior experience in a manufacturing plant or equivalent understanding of manufacturing processes
