Lead Engineer 1 – Service Engineering, Azerbaijan; Baku

Essential Responsibilities:– Interpret survey reports and provide technical dispositions and work scopes to satisfy specifications.-Interpret Customer specifications and identify equipment required to satisfy specifications.- Identify shortcoming in, or lack of, existing products and produce cost effective design solutions to satisfy specifications.- Prepare and approve factory acceptance test procedures.- Meet engineering work schedules.- Liaise with Sales and Manufacturing Departments as well as Workshop personnel and provide technical support as required.- Provide field support as required.- Provide Engineering support for the services of installed SSPE, SWE, CDE & SSWE equipment and provide options for Customers on refurbishment/repair of products.- Ensure that equipment is dispositioned in accordance with EHS regulations and within the abilities of in-house manufacturing processes.- Prepare and deviate factory acceptance and repair test procedures.- Prepare operational and manufacturing procedures and engineering reports on inspection findings and justifications.- Liaise with Customers and Third Parties providing justification on survey dispositions.- Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events.- Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules.- Immediately report any incidents and near misses to the on-site EHS Specialist.- Immediately shut down the operation when realized life or serious injury risk present.

Qualifications/Requirements:– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience)- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques and engineering design.- Fully proficient with e-Pims database.- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and design codes.- Knowledge of materials, welding and heat treatment.-Document Control: Has a good understanding of and a thorough approach to organising and maintaining document control systems.- PC literate: Experience in ProE, ACAD, engineering software.- Contract awareness: Can establish duties and responsibilities required of their role through reviewing the contract. Sets up and maintains systems to deliver against these.- Technical Product Knowledge: Has sound technical knowledge within oil and gas or equivalent manufacturing business. Particularly with SSPE, SWE, CDE & SSWE product lines.- Manufacturing Awareness: Has a solid understanding of manufacturing principles and processes. Prior experience in repetitive manufacturing operations is preferred.- Procurement Awareness: Has a basic understanding of sourcing and or procurement processes- Planning Awareness: Is competent in planning / scheduling of requirements and date control. Ability to effectively communicate with production, engineering, customer service, sales, and external customers
