Role Summary:The Technical Assurance Engineer is responsible for supporting activities ensuring that all legal requirements and GE Oil & Gas policies and procedures relating to health, safety, environment and quality are rigorously applied within his/her group and will also ensure that all contractors within his/her care comply with these policies and procedures whilst on our sites. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identification of risks related to equipment, systems, and services as well as proposing solutions to reduce them (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Reviews, TRC/TRL assessment etc.)
  • Verification of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL)
  • Analyze reliability, availability and/or maintainability of equipment, systems, and/ or services delivered by our organization (e.g. RAM, DFR, FMECA etc.)
  • Increase awareness of technical assurance within the organization
  • Advocate engineering practices which increase reliability and reduce risks related to our supplied equipment, systems, and services
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Strong relevant reliability experience
    • Knowledge of subsea products would be an advantage
    • MSc Mechanical/Electrical/Materials Engineering or Engineering Mechanics
    • Fluent written and spoken English is a must
    • Excellent communication skills
