Location(s): Mexico; Queretaro
Role Summary:Lead, mentor and execute projects related to the mechanical design of Surface Wellhead and Flow Control Equipment within Oil and Gas Industry, including drawings, specifications and the necessary documentation by using the applicable standards as API 6A, NACE and other related oil industry specifications. Provide technical direction to internal and external functions/customers as required.
Essential Responsibilities:· Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of projects related to the mechanical design of Surface Wellhead Equipment as casing heads, hangers and packoffs using the standards related with oil industry, procedures and product requirements· Development of structural analysis (Finite Element Analysis)· Provide technical engineering support to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, or field issues· Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures· Monitor, communicate and present project status, technical data, significant issues or developments to internal and external customers· Lead technical design reviews and mentor others in the organization· Lead the implementation of innovative analysis design, development concepts of processes and systems· Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization
Qualifications/Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 6 years of experience, or Master’s plus 4 years of experience· At least 4 years of experience in an engineering position (preferably on Oil Field Equipment Design)· Mechanical / structural analytical and numerical design techniques· Proven structural analysis experience (Finite Element Analysis)· English Level for fluent Communication· Legal right to work in Mexico. We will not sponsor individuals for legal permits or visas.
