We are looking for pro-active and experienced mechanical engineers both within project development and operation and maintenance of our offshore installations.
To meet future needs, we request personnel within the following competences:
•  Piping Engineering
•  Piping Layout
•  Valves
As part of the project development unit, you will have exciting challenges and varied tasks. For our diverse project portfolio, we seek engineers with experience from both unconventionals and international oil & gas; Wind and Solar, FPSOs, unmanned facilities, and tie-backs. Some traveling, offshore tips and possibly expatriation may be relevant.

In the technical integrity competence unit you will work with challenging and various tasks within technical integrity, technical support to operation, modifications, preparation for operation of new fields and corporate support. Our task is to transform the Norwegian shelf and the work is dependent on good cooperation across and the ability to identify and change way of working.
We need to strengthen our expertise group within piping engineering and valves.

Job Description

Within the Piping, Layout and Valves disciplines, we have open positions within three areas:
• Corporate support – Piping Engineering
• Corporate support  – Valves
• Project Development – Piping and Layout and/or Valves

Position 1: Corporate support – Piping Engineering
•  Technical support within piping vibrations, piping stress calculations, bolt tensioning and piping specifications
•  Maintaining and developing TR2000 (piping specification database)
•  Fitness For service evaluations
•  Premise provider for maintenance of pressure equipment
•  Qualification of new technology
•  Improve best practice and work methods and participate in international standardization work
•  Support and challenge operations and projects to improve performance, quality and technology utilization for cost effectiveness
•  Contribute in internal investigations

Position 2: Corporate support  – Valves
•  Technical support within valve technology (topside on/off, control, choke, safety relief and actuators)
•  Premise provider for maintenance of topside valves
•  Frame agreement development and follow up
•  Qualification of new technology
•  Improve best practice and work methods and participate in international standardization work
•  Support and challenge operations and projects to improve performance, quality and technology utilization for cost effectiveness
•  Contribute in internal investigations

Position 3: Project Development – Piping and Layout and/or Valves
•  Participate as Piping & Layout Discipline Lead, Piping  Engineer, Layout Engineer or Valve Engineer in projects as part of a portfolio with unmanned facilities, tie-backs, windfarms and FPSOs, both nationally and internationally.
•  Responsible for all project deliveries within the discipline. Ensure quality and progress through leading groups, own work, follow-up of studies, contractors and suppliers. Testing of equipment, ensuring LCI, addressing risk and handling interfaces.
•  Contribute to improvement work such as experience transfer, best practice, development and implementation of corporate requirements and digitalization to increase efficiency and meet future needs.


•  Bachelor or master’s degree within mechanical disciplines
•  Min. 5-7 years relevant experience from the oil and gas industry within piping layout and/or valves
•  General understanding of adjoining competences and interfaces
•  Proficiency in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal, and preferable other languages
•  Operational experience is advantageous
•  Good overview of way of working by international contractors and suppliers
•  Competence and experience from projects and/or operation of FPSOs in Brazil, Canada or UK, unmanned production platforms or offshore wind farms
•  General competence of maritime and international regulations and standards
•  Experience from early phase studies to start-up or operation.
•  International work and/or study experience preferred
•  Competence within design and fabrication of valves
