Role Summary:– Remote Monitoring Engineer is to perform daily vibration analysis / machinery diagnostics, report preparation, alarm & event management, and System1 optimization for rotating machinery at a Customer’s site in Algiers, as part of a strategic long-term supporting services contract.-The core task of the Remote Monitoring Engineer is to execute and manage the scope of the agreement, profitably, safely, with integrity and to the customers’ satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:-Perform daily remote monitoring of critical rotating machinery assets (pumps, gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, motors, generators, etc).-Perform optimization of BN System1 for various types of machinery assets, and for the software platform itself. -Serve as remote monitoring technical focal point for the customer.-Perform ongoing alarm and event management, documenting daily on the supporting services online Web Portal.-Track Key Performance Indicators for BN Remote Monitoring Services.-Response to machinery events, customer requests in a timely and priority fashion, including outside office hours.
Qualifications/Requirements:– B.E. (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.-Applicant must have a minimum of 5-years of experience executing condition monitoring programs or a minimum of 10-years of experience in instrumentation health and maintenance services including Bently Nevada monitoring and software products. Extensive experience with System1, 3500 Racks, and Bently Nevada monitoring/software products is an absolute requirement for this role.- Experience in maintenance or condition monitoring of rotating and reciprocating machinesincluding centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines, pumps etc.- Good understanding of machinery behavior and problems.- Knowledge of other Asset Management techniques such as Lube oil analysis, Thermography, Alignment etc will be given preference.- Ability to use Data collection instrumentation & software’s such as ADRE, System 1 & portablevibration instruments, and Enterprise Impact.

Ability to understand customer’s business, how the customer operates profitably, safety, environmental and other regulatory challenges.Ability to understand the key contractual terms and conditions.
